Who made this Valentine Day what it is? His name was Saint Valentine and he was a priest in Rome during the third century. Saint Valentine secretly married soliders who were in love with their potential wives, despite the orders from their Emperor Claudius II, which outlawed marriage to young men because the Emperor believed the men made better soldiers as single men.
America along with other countries such as Canada and Mexico celebrate this day of romance.
